The WCWC seeks to empower women to lead self-directed lives, realize economic viability, enjoy satisfying relationships, and strengthen their participation in the community. They serve women and women and children who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless providing basic needs such as a day shelter (the only one for women and women with children in Wake County), food, financial assistance, transportation, and clothing. They also provide supportive services such as mentoring, counseling, legal information, health services, and housing services.
The Women’s Center is on the path to become the central stabilization and assessment center for homeless women and women with children in Wake County. WCWC is an inspiring and exciting ministry.
