Franklin County Volunteers in Medicine Clinic (FCVIMC) meets primary health care needs of the medically uninsured adult population of Franklin County. The clinic serves individuals aged 18 – 65 who do not have adequate medical coverage and work with those who suffer from chronic illnesses. They offer a Patient Assistance Program, Behavioral Therapist, and food pantry (to provide nutritious food for their clients).
FCVIMC strives to provide basic necessities to those in need; provide services that promote self-sufficiency; build awareness of the issues surrounding poverty within the larger community; remain aware of and leverage area resources to maximize their impact within the community; and provide a challenging, rewarding, and supportive environment for staff and volunteers.
